Free educational self-help tools. Freedom Credit Counseling ("we") provides free educational information and software tools that help you prepare your own letters. We do not charge for the free platform, and we do not send disputes, sign documents or communicate with credit bureaus, creditors or collectors on your behalf.

Not a nonprofit credit counseling agency. We are not a nonprofit credit counseling organization and do not offer debt management plans.

No guarantees. We cannot and do not promise that any item will be removed or that your credit score will improve. Accurate, timely negative information can legally be reported for the periods allowed by law.

You can do this yourself for free. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit file directly with the credit bureaus and the companies that furnished it, at no cost. You have the right to obtain your credit reports for free at AnnualCreditReport.com.

• Only dispute information you believe in good faith is inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable.
• Provide truthful information. Never use another person's identity or a "CPN."
• Review every letter before you sign and mail it. You are responsible for what you send.

We collect the information you provide (name, contact information, address, date of birth, Social Security number if you choose to enter it, credit account details and uploaded documents) solely to generate your letters and operate your account.

Sensitive fields (full SSN, date of birth) and all uploaded documents are encrypted at rest. Access by our staff is limited and logged. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time through our contact page.
